Program Abstract


For the past decade, Brian S. Maddox, PMP has conducted genealogical research on the Maddox family in America. In this presentation, he will discuss the PMI-based processes, tools and techniques that he has integrated into the genealogical research and development of a series of books based upon 12 generations of Maddox family in America.

About the presenter

Mr. Maddox is Vice-President and Chief Operations Officer for MCM Project Management, a Project Management Consulting, Services and Project Management Institute (PMI) Global Registered Education Provider (REP #: 1809) Training Company.

A PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with over twenty years of diversified, practical project management experience; Mr. Maddox has managed projects in a variety of industries including:

· Regulatory Compliance/Requirements Management (ex. Westinghouse, DE&SNW)

· Information Technology (ex. Intel)

· Telecommunications (ex. GST Telecommunications)

· Physical and IT Security (ex. US Army Corps of Engineers, Pierce County, WA., Portland Police Bureau, and Nike).

The author or co-author of nearly two dozen Project Management Institute (PMI) registered and National Management Association (NMA) accredited traditional and self-paced, e-learning courses currently provide on Savvy-U.com; Mr. Maddox also provides periodic commentary on PMAdvocate.com; a blog dedicated to the betterment of project managers.
