Project managers spend more of their time communicating that anything else, but do they communicate as well as they could? The Alpha Study of 860 project managers and their stakeholders revealed that 94% of PMs rank themselves as being more effective at communication than their stakeholders do. Everyone has something to learn about communication, and that is the focus of this seminar.

Drawing on research and lessons from the Alpha Study, this half-day course focuses on structuring and improving communication, designing a communication system that works for you and helping you to stay in control of communication and not vice-versa.

Additionally, this mini-course will help project managers learn to manage expectations on the front end of their project. Attendees will gain an appreciation of communication from their stakeholders’ perspective, while learning to tailor their communication by including the proper content and level of detail.
